Skiing and Snowboarding
It's what the area is most known for, and for good reason. At an elevation of 720 feet, Blue Mountain is southern Ontario's best and most popular ski resort. With 42 runs to choose from and 3 different terrain parks, there is something for everyone.
Tobogganing
The Hike 'n Tube at Blue Mountain is ideal for a day on the slopes where you want to give your legs a break.
Snowshoeing and Cross Country Skiing
There are as many snowshoeing trails as there are hiking trails in the summer ... in other words, hundreds. The most convenient are at Blue Mountain. There are also excellent trails at Duntroon Highlands Nordic and Wasaga Beach Provincial Park.
Skating
There is a very scenic skating path across the top of Blue Mountain... for those days where your legs are skied out.
Snowmobiling
The area is part of the Mid Ontario Snowmobile Trails (MOST) district of the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC). For trail maps and information, consult the MOST website.
Spas
The area is home to some of the most luxurious and naturally stunning spas in southern Ontario.
